Hi, I’m Joyce.

Welcome to Trail Tales!

I’m a lifelong bike rider who enjoys exploring Florida’s trails on my recumbent trike.

Trail Tales began as a personal challenge to share my cycling adventures. Along the way, I participated in the Great Cycle Challenge, which reminded me that every ride can have a purpose. More importantly, it inspired me to start documenting the places, people, and unexpected moments I discovered on every ride.

Now that I’m retired, I have the opportunity to explore even more of Florida’s incredible trail system and share those adventures with others.

Here you’ll find ride reports, trail recommendations, beautiful scenery, wildlife sightings, hidden gems, and the occasional coffee stop. My hope is that Trail Tales encourages others to get outside, enjoy the journey, and maybe discover a new favorite trail of their own.
