Warming Up for the Great Cycle Challenge!

Today I went out for a 17.7-mile test ride in Winter Garden to get ready for the official start of the Great Cycle Challenge tomorrow. I headed out early, before the sun was up, and loved experiencing that shift from the quiet pre-dawn into the first light of day — my favorite time to ride.

Along the way I snapped a photo of a sign for the Coast-to-Coast Trail (C2C). It’s a path that’s been calling to me with curiosity — one ride at a time I’ll get there, and this Challenge feels like the perfect spark to start exploring beyond my usual routes.

Even though these miles don’t officially count toward my September goal, they were a great warm-up and reminder of why I’m riding. I’m especially excited because donations have already started coming in to support the cause. Thank you to everyone who has given so far — your support inspires me to keep pedaling.

Tomorrow the real Challenge begins, and I can’t wait to do my part! 🚴✨
